Truly speaking when I divide my life in different time periods I find many people who has influenced my life a lot. My Mother and father, my teachers, some iconic figures like Swami Vivekanada, Subhas Chandra Bose, Gandhiji, etc.Why a person is your role model? As he/she has some quality that you like the most. It depends on the taste of the people. A cricket fan loves Sachin, Dhoni or Dravid, a person who likes literature may like Premchand, Nirala, Dinkar, etc. A person who likes music loves Rafi, Kishor, Shan etc. It all depends on the field you are attached with. In my case I like a person from day-to-day life. Whom I am attached with? When I observe the life of a great person it influences a lot. But I am unable to know to much or very close observation about him. When I got married I was much influenced by my father-in-law. In my opinion he is my role model. His words are encouraging. He has many health problems; physically he is not healthy; but when you talk to him he appears vary good and no one can guess that he has lot of problems. He always keeps his words. His kathni (sayings) and karni (doings) are almost same. He never promises you anything which he cannot do or fulfill. He is very punctual to his duty. The best thing I like in him is the simplicity. He is in a good job, he can live a lavishly life. But his simplicity attracts me the most. No show off at any time and at any place. It took me many days to decide about my role model. I thought about many persons for this. He is my role model because he is very inspiring personality for me. He always spreads positive thoughts in us.
