The Craziest Thing I Did for Cricket Match

One of the most craziest thing which I had done for cricket was really a memorable event in my life. Those days I was in class 10.

It was the month of march. I had to appear to Board Exams. Really it was a very important time for all students. So, my father being a teacher knew the importance of study during these days. He used to lock me inside my study room and went on his job.

On that day there was a cricket match between my team and a nearby village team. Around 10 o’clock as my father left home for his job, my teammate came and informed that the opponent team was arrived the cricket ground. I was one of the good players of my team. My participation was much needed for my team. Then what to do? I was very interested to play match. Because in between the match when a batsman hit a four or six his teammate came running on the pitch and used to give a toffee in the mouth of the player. I did not want to miss that. I started making plan. How to open the door? Mother would not help. Suddenly I saw the ventilator of room. I made a plan to unfix the ventilator. With the help of a table and chair anyhow I make myself to reach the level of ventilator. I unfixed the ventilator of my room.

Then I had to jump from the narrow opening of the ventilator on the ground level. It was around 12 feet high. It might be dangerous. But my friends managed some straw (Pual in Hindi) and I jumped on that straw safely from that small ventilation. Played and enjoyed the game. My team won the match. Again I entered my study room with the help of my friends and fix the ventilator of my room. It was the craziest moment of my life to play a cricket match.
