The estimated market size of DTH ( Direct to Home) TV subscribers in India is around 50 million. There are many players in this field. At present Tata Sky DTH Service covers around 14.5 million of connections.  To increase its subscriber’s base Tata Sky has launched a new SET TOP BOX (STB) Tata Sky Plus Transfer. In this post I would like to have a glimpse of all its newly added features. As we know the number of internet connections has increased by many folds in last few years. Transfer Recorded Content 

Tata Sky + Transfer STB  is now Wi-Fi enabled and also has a digital video recorder in it. This empowers the subscribers to transfer their recorded TV programs from the STB.

View Recorded Content Anytime & Anywhere

Subscribers can view their  favorite episodes/programs that they have recorded. For this, they have to register their device. Now they can view this recorded program from anywhere. Wi-Fi or internet connection is not needed for this.  They can watch these programs  offline using Tata Sky App. This currently supports Android and Apple users. Existing customers can upgrade his/her package to New STB. Subscribers can watch  previous five days programs/serials/episodes/around 80 TV channels using this new STB. They can set reminders for their favorite shows.

Easily Stream Recorded Content

If you want to stream recorded content you can do it instantly using Wi-Fi connection from your Tata Sky Plus transfer STB.

HD Recording Option

You can record your favorite shows/programs/serials in High Definition. HD output gives great visual satisfaction.

Hard Disk of 500 GB for Recording

The new STB of Tata Sky Plus Transfer has a 500 GB inbuilt hard disk. Subscribers do not need to buy one. They can use this 500 GB space to record their favorite shows and movies.

Options of Rewind, Forward and Pause
